There hasn’t been much caught recently with the chilly weather making things very difficult but Sean Leverett has had an excellent result from a southern venue with this stunning common. Just reward for plugging away, top angling Sean!
‘I did a couple of nights on a southern pit and had this 31lb 12oz common along with another of 16lb 10oz.
Both fish were caught using snowman rigs constructed with Two-Tone 25lb brown hooklink material and size 6 Curve Shank hooks. These were fished on the Ejector Lead clips with the Silt Black Leadcore leaders at 30 yards. The 31 was my first bite from the venue and it was nice to get amongst one of the better fish from the off’.
