The Terry Hearn Classic 12′ 9″ 3 1/4lb is now available with a 50mm ring set. We had to delay the launch of this model due to a shortage of Fuji reel seats but they are now in stock and just like the 40mm Classic and 50mm Distance models, look and feel superb.
The Classic 12’ 9” 3¼lb (50mm) is built on the blank Terry uses for most of his fishing with the addition of the distance enhancing 50mm ring set. The iconic 12’9” length with its forward action is preferred by Terry as the extra length improves casting distance and accuracy with a wide range of lead sizes as well as offering a superior playing action and improved line control.
Perfect for when combining with the larger big pit reels, the 50mm ring set funnels the line quicker, preventing ‘frap ups’ around the butt guide.
Made using the latest high modulus 40T material, which provides durable strength, balance and responsiveness, this rod features an attractive woven finish.
The SiC guides funnel down from 50mm at the butt to a 16mm tip. Just like the other models there is the full length high density EVA handle and flared collar, Fuji DPS reel seat along with a machines stainless butt cap and moulded line clip.
