Tel said of his latest session: ‘Conditions have been mega, had a good catch between Christmas and New Year, managed seven and lost one, best two the Floppy Lin at 44.10 and a common of 40.12. Usually at this time of year I would be on the rivers fishing for other species but this mild weather has kept them feeding and I just can’t bring myself to put the carp gear away! Everything’s working really well at the moment, lovely rods, mega Tungsten hooklink and mega hooks, loving the Syncro XT too.’
All the fish fell to Tel’s simple bottom bait arrangement incorporating the new Tungsten Loaded coated braid, the hooklink everyone is talking about at the moment. He also mentions ‘mega hooks’ – not long to wait now……
