These last few weeks i have been concentrating on one particular swim, a swim known as Rat. Over the lasty couple of years the swim has been neglected and has hardly been fished. I started to introduce large quantities of boilie, Pellet and particle to a spot that i had found. I started off fishing Pineapple pop ups over the top on multi rigs using Twotone Striptease in 25lb on ESP Ejector lead clips and from the off i caught.
I first had The Snub Nose Ghost and Orange Scale as discussed before but since that session i have continued to catch. As the spot got clearer i switched over from pop-ups to a snowman setup and caught the Scattered Linear at 31lb 14oz on the next session. The following week i had FagBurn, The big Fully and The pug off the spot and then the following week i added to the list the Dark One, a repeat of The Grey One and then capped things off with a stunning Little Scattered Linear, a fish that rarely gets caught.
All my fish are coming on Strip tease hooklinks and size 5 Stiff Rigger hooks again with the Ejector lead clips on an ESP leadcore leader.
