John Claridge had a brilliant result around this time last year in similar conditions when he caught a 39lb 8oz mirror from a tricky southern park lake.

John has recently launched his book ‘Beauties and the Beasts’ which includes the account of this capture as well as loads of other big carp from his time spent on Frampton, Yateley, Frimley, Pingewood amongst other big fish waters.
