Mark Drake sent us this little report on his capture of a lovely old carp known as the Grey One weighing 33lb 4oz from the Roach Pit in Ringwoodshire.
The Bristol based carp charmer presented a critically balanced PGB hook bait 15 yards from the bank on a small sandy area under an overhanging bush. A scattering of mixed nuts and 12mm boilies completing the dastardly trap.
The rig comprised of a size 4 ESP Curve-Shanx tied to 25lb Camo Sink Link with and ESP Ejector lead clip helping to dump the lead on the take. Top angling as usual Drakey!
