Michiel Martijn recently caught this chunky looking 51lb mirror from a public Dutch lake. Tackle used included a ready tied ESP Chod Rig, original Leadcore, Syncro XT and a Terry Hearn Classic rod. Well done Michiel!

Things have carried on very nicely of late and as always “mental May” has been a great time to be out on the bank. I’ve managed to get four nights fishing in since the brace of mid 30’s and had three more fish from my syndicate.

‘I arrived on Friday evening at around 6pm and managed to squeeze into a peg on Hunts Corner before the heavens opened.  It was my first time on this lake at Linear so wasn’t too sure what to expect.  Between the spells of heavy rain I managed to find myself a nice clear spot just off a gravel bar at 11 wraps and got 15 spombs on the area.
