With the warm weather of late its been prime for floater fishing and West Midlands based Tom Fellows has had a run of fish off the top. Tom said:
Over a 7 day period I fished 3 evening sessions after work and 4 nights. I took 15 carp and lost 3 mainly double figure commons, all little characters. One evening I had watched a crusty old linear suss out my controller and eat every mixer in sight just not the hookbait. The following morning it was back in the area I had it feeding the evening before, a single mixer cast on its route was too much to resist… sweet revenge!!!
I also managed one of the lakes rarer ones the `original linear’. A jet black scaley beast! A perfect way to end a weeks fun in the sun. all fish were caught on 10lb syncro, 10g esp surface controller, size 10 big t raptor, Oxford carp baits surface hookbaits soaked in salmon oil.
