Tinpot’s last hurrah!

tinpotKent angler Darren ‘Tinpot’ Norman enjoyed a proper result recently after a bit of a lean spell, well done Tinny!

‘The fishing has been tough lately on my syndicate and having nearly finished my nights I was just hoping for one last bite to finish off whats been an amazing season .

Twenty four hours in a pre baited area produced nothing but the following morning I saw a large fish jump up the other end of the lake and that was the sign I had been waiting for. I quickly moved for my 2nd night and at 1.30am my prayers were answered and I got the one more bite I craved.

At 43lb 6oz it certainly put a smile on my face!! 15lb Syncro XT, lead clip and tubing, Tungsten Loaded to a stiff chod section tied to my new favourite hooks which are the prototype size 4 cryogen beaked point stiff riggers, really impressed with these hooks so far .I fished a sticky krill wafter to finish it off’. Cheers, Tinpot
