Stuart Lennox had a great time at Sandhurst Lake, Yateley last week. He was fishing a qualifying match for a chance to represent the British Army in the BCAC’s. Here’s how he got on:
“Just had a belter of a match at Sandhurst! I had four fish off the top including one at 29lb 15oz and a brace of 30s at 33lb and the 36lb 4oz in the picture. Had to use 12lb hook lengths due to the thick weed.
The 36lber stripped 80 yds of line on its first run and weeded me solid at range, but I managed to pull it through that and two further weed beds before the net and the hooklength stayed strong. Ultimate confidence!”
