Norfolk based Rob Shanks just keeps catching and his last four fish from his local syndicate have fallen to possibly the most exciting method of all, stalking them in the edge. Here’s what Rob had to say:
‘Been getting amongst a few lately, the lake has been absolutely rammed with everybody full of early season keenness and fishing mainly short overnighters has meant getting on the fish has been hard work. Having had the privilege of watching the carp feeding in the edge it was clear the pressure has made the fish feed extra cautiously but a switch to a stiff ESP Ghost presentation has kept the action coming with a 22.10 linear, commons of 19.10, 20.04 and 23.08 and a lovely plump mirror of 26.04’.
With the same light refractive index as water ESP Ghost is virtually invisible when submerged. It is an excellent hook link material particularly for wary carp in clear water. For more information, click here.
