Terry Hearn has had a little break recently from his pursuit of the Ashmead biggun and along with catching some nice barbel from a Thames tributary he caught this cracking 25lb 4oz common from ‘old father’ earlier this week before the draw off will leave his boat high and dry for a month.
The Ashmead quest continues now and Tel said he is looking forward to getting back under the bivvy. With these mild autumnal conditions we wouldn’t bet against him catching the one he wants.
