Kev Hewitt with a stunning 37lb 6oz mirror from Bluebell Swan lake last week. The lake hadn’t produced a fish for three weeks and Kev targetted a usually unfancied area to produce the goods.
The fish fell to a Mini ESP pva bag of pellets with a single grain of ESP plastic corn balanced on a size 6 hook cast to showing fish. Kev also went on to catch the big mirror known as Dave at a new pb and all time top weight of 55lb 12oz – on the front cover of this week’s Carp Talk. Well done Kev!
