Jo Green sent us some sunshine with news of her annual trip to Morocco:
‘Lac Bine l Ouidane is a dammed lake of 4000-6000 hectares depending on water level
and the time had come for my annual jolly to this great lake over Christmas and the New Year.
With back to back sunshine every day the fish were regularly coming to the bank and at times it was hectic, I was frequently running around like a headless chicken. Great entertainment for Mike looking on as the rods kept screaming off, when he wasn’t running around as well.
The final tally was 50 commons to 52lb 12oz and 3 mirrors to 43lb 7oz, overall weight of fish banked was over half a tonne, back home now for a rest’.
Tackle used:
E S P Crystal mono 18lb, leadcore leaders gravel , Two Tone hook link silt , Raptor T6 hooks size 3 and giant plastic corn
