We are delighted to announce ESP sponsored anglers Kev Hewitt and Kia Sanger have been selected amongst the three pairs to represent Korda Team England in next months World Championship on Corbu Lake in Romania.
Kev’s and Kia’s performance over the four trials along with their fishing partners Jack Stamp and Mark Bartlett ensured their selection in the team, for what is destined to be an extremely demanding contest over the 72 hour match. It looks likely that winning section weights could top 800kg and with the average size of the carp being just 2kg, that requires an average of 6 fish an hour per pair over the 72 hour period, just to be competitive. And with much of the fishing expected to be at long range, it makes this task even more demanding.
All at ESP wish the team the very best of luck – time to get rig tying lads!
