Mark Boyle sent us this scaley stunner caught on a recent worknight – his first carp of 2015.
The Sidcup based banker commented: ‘I caught it from Kent club water with the bite coming in the early hours. The weeks of careful pre-baiting in the run up really paid off and i’m so chuffed to get the first one of the year under my belt, and what a lovely carp it is too. I went to work with a spring in my step the next day!’
We couldn’t agree more. Tackle comprised a size 6 curve shank tied D-rig fashion using the new ESP Soft Ghost in 15lb, plus ESP tubing and lead clips.
